When flying, footstrap and foil positioning in relation to volume is what’s critical. These SMIK boards have the balance just right for the perfect flight. As your foiling skills improve, you will want to step down in board size. The Slab Series are quite short boards but still retain enough volume for you to stand on them without sinking. Once up and flying, the shorter boards really come into their own. The feeling of manoeuvrability and freedom is hard to beat. Three of the sizes: 5’0, 5’3 and 5’6 have the option of Y-Setup footstraps. The 5’8 sports regular or goofy setup.

The Wingfoil range features very short lengths with limited swing weight to make them ultra-easy to fly and turn. The incredibly versatile boards have an array of uses which all incorporate a new chined bottom shape. It enhances lift, allowing quick release up onto the foil and minimal drag when touching down.

The boards are custom made, meaning they are hand-crafter by an experienced shaper. The standard construction is a super light EPS core wrapped in a glass fiber and wood. All boards are also available through special order in full carbon construction, for those who want to shave even more weight off. This takes about 3 months.
